A client said that to me.
We could all say that.
It isn’t true.
Society would never improve if we couldn’t help it – if we could not overcome the way were raised.
Do you want to improve?
Or, are you happy with your limitations?
The problem is we give up.
“The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.” Henry David Thoreau
We do the same thing today that we did yesterday.
We complain about it.
But we don’t change anything.
A few get fed up. They’ve had enough.
They decide to do something different.
They take control of their lives.
They meet defeats.
Finally, they succeed.
The world looks at them and says – they were lucky.
I couldn’t do that.
I can’t help it – it’s just the way I was raised.
